STU'FFY PUFFS Snacks were developed by Kathleen Craider, a biology teacher, in 2022. For many years Kathleen taught a unit on macromolecules by making a version of STU'FFY PUFFS for her classes. As she made the puffs, she discussed the food science and chemistry of the recipe. Eventually, at the urging of her students Kathleen decided to add flavors to her recipe and took her product to market.
In 2013 Kathleen’s brother David was diagnosed unexpectedly with ALS and passed away in 2015. The family became active in fundraising for research to find a cure. ALS is currently 100% fatal with limited drugs to inhibit progression of the disease. It is our desire to raise awareness and funds to aid those suffering with ALS. As seen on the website a portion of the profits from selling STU'FFY PUFFS will be donated to the ALS Association.
